The death of their mother and the arrival of another boy set off a painful confrontation between the siblings, who are obliged to examin their attitutudes about love, homosexuality, and fraternal links. <em>Burn the Bridges<\/em> is a reflection on the sexual awakening of young people in a conservative Catholic environment that encloses them and forces them to choose between staying trapped in the past and living out their dreams.
