Israel \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Cachao\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Lopez, the famous mambo musician, bassist and composer, who helped introduce mambo music to mainstream U.S. in the 1950s. Follow the “inventor of the mambo” and master of \u00e2\u20ac\u0153descarga\u00e2\u20ac\u009d from his early days in Cuba to worldwide recognition. This documentary showcases a live concert in San Francisco and revealing interviews with musical collaborators Andy Garcia (producer of the film), Ray Santos, Orestes Vilato, and John Santos, who will perform at the Gala party that will follow the presentation of this film.
